As sad as we are to see the end of summer approaching, the turning of the leaves also means APPLES. YESSSSSSSSSS! I LOVE apples! Macintosh are my most favorite – crispy and full of flavor. The apple trees on our farm (Fat Toad Farm was previously called Apple Hill Farm – little known fact) are already peppered with apples and dropping under their weight.
It just so happens that our goat’s milk caramel sauces (cajeta) were born to accompany apples – a match made in taste bud heaven (check out this Tasting Table article for further proof). So, in honor of apple season we have created a special Apple Season Cinnamon Caramel Duo: two jars of our warmly spiced cinnamon goat’s milk caramel each with their own hand-stamped gift tag with our own recipe for Baked Caramel Apples printed on the back (see lovely results below). Whether you’re in the mood for a fall baking project, in need of the perfect gift for a foodie friend, or simply a lover of all things cinnamon, caramel, and apple – this is the duo for you.
