Our farm has teamed up with Whitney Lamy of Castleton Crackers to do several demos around the state in the next couple of months. Whitney’s crackers are hand-made and hand ‘cracked’ in Randolph, VT. She makes three different flavors: Middlebury Maple, Windham Wheat and Rutland Rye. The crackers use all natural ingredients and are made the old fashioned way, in big sheets and then cracked into pieces. Fortunately for us, they are a tasty vehicle for our flavored goat cheese. The favorite combos so far have been Middlebury Maple with Maple Chevre, Middlebury Maple with Sundried Tomato Basil and Windham Wheat and Plain Chèvre. Look for our sampling at your local coop over the next few months!
